That’s how much workers making the federal minimum wage live on.

The federal minimum wage is currently $7.25 an hour and hasn’t gone up since July 2009. Many minimum wage workers are forced to work multiple jobs, because one at that wage just isn’t enough.

It’s time we changed that.
