Democrats promised to get the federal government working #ForThePeople again — and it’s a promise they are already working to keep.

House Democrats moved forward with a reform package that will (among other things):

• Implement new disclosure requirements for political organizations that spend money on elections.
• Create a matching system for small-dollar campaign contributions.
• Institute new ethics standards for the Supreme Court.
• End first-class travel for those who hold federal office.
• Require presidential and vice presidential candidates to release their tax information.
• Expand access to the polls.
