Women make up over 50 percent of the United States population, yet only:

• 19 percent of the Members of Congress
• 24 percent of state legislative seats
• 18 percent of mayorships in cities with a population of 30,000

With representation like that, is it any wonder that a male-dominated, Republican-led Congress still attacks Planned Parenthood? As well as refuses to pass paid family or maternity leave or raise the minimum wage, leaving workers in the lurch?
