Stand with Nancy and Support the Affordable Care Act

Women take on the majority of health care responsibilities for their families, so they also are the ones who are disproportionately affected by problems in our health care system.

In 2010, as the first female Speaker of the House, Nancy worked hard to rally the Democrats in support of the Affordable Care Act for the sake of women and all Americans. Health care is an especially personal issue for women, which is why it’s so frustrating to see a male-dominated Republican majority relentlessly attack it.

Now, Speaker Ryan has made his top priority in 2016 repealing the Affordable Care Act.
In his first major address as speaker, Congressman Ryan declared that the most urgent item on his agenda was to come up with a plan to “replace every word” of the Affordable Care Act.

That’s why need to stand together and make sure Speaker Ryan doesn’t get what he wants in 2016. The Affordable Care Act provides 17.6 million Americans with health insurance — repealing it would be downright disastrous families, women, and Americans everywhere.
